Here are some short stories I’ve done that I ended up liking a whole lot.
Vegas : Vegas is the first character I created that felt special to me. I came up with him for a creative writing assignment. I don’t remember the specifics, but I’m pretty sure it was something along the lines of, “Imagine a character named Vegas. What are they like?” He is the first character I wrote that I truly wanted to do more with. This is how he starts bungling into his true calling.
Free Dinner : This is another story I wrote for a prompt given to me in a creative writing class. I don’t remember the specifics, but it was something along the lines of “Someone wakes up and calls in sick to work. Why?” Some minor updates and tweaks, but nothing major. Starring El Diablito.
Snow Bird : This is a short story that I was lucky enough to get printed in the local paper a while back. They had a thing for authors and I submitted this quick and breezy story. I’m a sentimental type, so I ended up liking the story a whole lot.
Fallen Through : I forgot why I wrote this story. For one of my creative writing classes I think, but I don’t remember if it was a prompt or what. Anyway, this was one of my first stories playing with alternate universes, a subject I obviously love if you look at my writing.
